Top Education Benefits for Veterans

As part of your VA Benefits the GI Bill is available to military veterans who plan to take education programs including college degrees, technical training, and National Testing Programs.

Veterans are able to use the American Council on Education's (ACE) program to receive academic credit for training you receive in the military. Applying these credits towards a degree program can reduce the number of credits you need to complete.

Each branch offers TA Assistance programs that can help cover tuition expenses. Funds are normally paid directly to the institution.

Earn college credits through a series of exams that are accepted by colleges across the nation. Exams are offered in a variety of subjects.

Additional funding for educational expenses can be received through grants & scholarships offered by the federal government or private organizations. These programs can supplement the GI Bill to cover tuition, books, housing etc.
